Highmark Walk@Lunch
Highmark Inc. and it's more than 20,000 employees took a big step toward better health on April 28, 2010, by participating with tens of thousands of walkers from across the country in the fourth annual National Walk @ Lunch Day®.
This slideshow features some of the employees who chose to walk in Pittsburgh. Employees walked at a variety of Highmark locations including Camp Hill, Erie, Johnstown and the Lehigh Valley. In addition, many members from companies throughout the region and nationally participated in the walk.
National Walk @ Lunch Day encourages people to take time during their lunch break to start walking toward better health. Highmark recognizes that most Americans' schedules are built around their workdays, so National Walk @ Lunch Day is designed to fit into, not compete with, their daily routine.
